Stargate: No Limits Weapons (Modelling the first mesh for Weapons)

I found a client that needed some help on creating weapons for his fan made game based on the TV show 'Stargate'. I was interested in the position since I have never modelling weapons before and it would be a good learning experience for me. 

The client has asked me to model various types of weapons ranging from guns, swords and gadgets. The weapons are also hard-surface and organic form. Below are some of the reference pictures he gave me to use.











Below are the models I have made for the weapons the client requested.


























Some of these models proved a little tricky to model but with trial and error I managed to overcome the problems I had with how I want the mesh to be laid out. These mesh are nor the final ones since I still have to create a game ready mesh for them or change the shape of the mesh. High poly mesh to capture all the details I can.
