Space Marine Concept

A concept design of a Space Marine, inspired by Halo and Mass Effect. Done in 1 and 30 mins in class.

I decided to work on space marine in my own time and made a few changes to it, on the left hand side i have a colour palette, these are the colours i will use for my space marine.

 Colours applied to the areas.

Given the Space Marine some shading.

I let my Space Marine with flat colours because i wanted to show the viewer how the armour will look, in terms of texture and colours; i decided to do this because I wanted to give the viewer a rough idea on how the armour will appear on the character.

Speed Painting

Task was to recreate this image using a quick industrial way called "speed painting" to give the director and quick glance of a potential idea.

Original Picture:

Stage 1:
Painting in the 2 figures on a dark background to bring out the  values of light and dark.

Stage 2:
Completing the figures and foreground I can work on the background.

Stage 3:
I rushed the background because I wanted viewers to focus on the figure and the foreground they were standing on.

Demonic Bunny

Task: was to create a Evil bunny for the Easter holiday. This is my take on this brief. done in class in the time of 2 hours.

Stage 1: Getting his proportions right.

Stage 2:
Added some character to him i.e the teeth and his nails.

Stage 3:
Colouring his main features.

Stage 4:
Colouring his fur, I wanted to give his a scruffy looking fur so that it fits his "demonic" personality.
